1. Introduction

These terms and conditions govern your use of massage therapy services provided by Mango Massage ("we," "us," "our"). By booking an appointment, you agree to be bound by these terms.

2. Booking and Appointments

Appointments can be booked via telephone, email, or through our online booking system. A confirmed booking constitutes acceptance of these terms. We recommend booking in advance to secure your preferred time slot.

3. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

We understand that circumstances change and aim to maintain a fair policy for both clients and our practice.

Notice Periods:

24 hours or more notice: Full refund or free rescheduling available
Less than 24 hours notice: 50% of the appointment fee will be charged
No-show: Full appointment fee will be charged

How to Cancel: You may cancel or reschedule by phone, email, or through our online booking system. Cancellations are only confirmed once you receive acknowledgement from us.

Exceptions: We understand that genuine emergencies occur. In cases of sudden illness, family emergency, or unforeseen circumstances, please contact us to discuss your situation. We will always try to be reasonable and accommodating.

Our Cancellations: If we need to cancel your appointment, you will receive full notice and the opportunity to reschedule at your convenience with no penalty.

4. Payment

Payment is due at the time of service unless alternative arrangements have been made in advance. We accept cash, card, and bank transfer. Prices are as quoted at the time of booking and may be subject to change with reasonable notice.

5. Health and Medical Information

You must complete a full health questionnaire before your first appointment and inform us of any changes to your health status at subsequent appointments. Massage therapy is contraindicated for certain medical conditions, and we reserve the right to refuse or modify treatment if we believe it may not be safe or appropriate for you.

You should consult your GP before receiving massage therapy if you have any concerns about your suitability for treatment.

6. Client Responsibilities

Arrive on time for your appointment (late arrivals may result in shortened treatment time)
Provide accurate health information
Communicate openly about comfort levels during treatment
Inform us immediately if you experience any discomfort during your session

7. Professional Boundaries

All treatments are conducted in a professional, therapeutic manner. Inappropriate behaviour or requests will result in immediate termination of the session without refund. We maintain strict professional boundaries in accordance with industry standards and our professional body guidelines.

8. Confidentiality

All personal and health information you provide is kept strictly confidential in accordance with UK GDPR regulations. Information will only be shared with third parties where required by law or with your explicit consent.

9. Liability

While we maintain professional indemnity insurance and take all reasonable care, massage therapy does carry some risk. You acknowledge that you are receiving treatment at your own risk. We are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage except where caused by our negligence.

10. Aftercare Advice

We may provide aftercare advice following treatment. While we believe this advice to be beneficial, you are responsible for your own decision to follow such advice. If symptoms worsen or persist, you should consult your GP.

11. Complaints

We aim to provide excellent service. If you have any concerns or complaints, please contact us directly so we can address them promptly. We will acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and investigate thoroughly.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these terms and conditions. Any changes will be posted on our website, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of revised terms.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
